Only when they redesigned it on an entirely new hardware platform... and while it seems like yesterday, that was a while back (over 4 years ago).

The Rider series is still a full generation back before that, along with the GO 620, for example.

I didn't know that it was this long ago that they upgraded their car navigators.

Gives the impression that the hardware development of tomtom is in stark decline.

I guessed that the use of smartphones was the reason but Garmin is much more active ( and apparently much larger than TomTom)

I think that Tomtom will stop all portable GPS. It' already done in USA, Canada, Australia.

What a shame they are not making them anymore I have a Tom Tom rider 400 been all over Europe and the uk it’s 13years old and never missed a beat love it
