Removing a "find" entry

When I first got the unit I was playing around with the find function. If I Browse Map->Find->POI the next screen has the POI I selected, I can't see any way to get rid of it.
Any suggestions?

The way the application works is that the icon for the poi you see on that screen will be replaced by the icon for the poi you select the next time you go through the process.

No. The last one will always appear. If there's an 'issue' with that, just select something else such that the something else takes its place. 'Library' should be safe

I'd note that if you followed through to the point of navigation (selected an entry from the POI category), the selected POI will also be showing up in your Recent Destinations list for a while, too. That list, however, can be deleted in its entirety.
