remember the red dot in tomtom home

two days ago when updating in home, where you normally get how many map shares you downloaded, I am again getting a red dot saying that their is a latter map availlable. I have to assume since it is red that this does not pertain to my. Last time when it was a green dot it applied. Are others out their now getting this mystical red dot also. Eventually, it went way to the map share nulmbers after a few months.

Home is less than reliable as a piece of software at the best of times. Faulty mapshare totals is just one reason.

That isn't happening to me.

Are you on map 840? If not, then that dot is normal functionality.

If you are on map 840, try deleting the contents of the "maps" folder (not your North America/Western Europe) folder, and see if the dot goes away.
