Here in Winnipeg the red light cameras are also equipped to detect if you are going over the posted speed limit so the locations are a combo of both.

Thank you!

Thank you for doing that so quickly!
I will test them out later tomorrow and see how they work.

It goes directly in the specific map folder you have on your unit. Use Explorer to put the file there.

I have put the file in the maps folder ..

However when I do a simulation of a trip it doesn't show anything at the point of where the camera is supposed to be. Does anyone have any ideas?

Do you have the preference set to SHOW speed cameras on a route? (along with other pois you want displayed).

These are the categories I have

It doesn't have red light cameras in my POI's

I guess I'll have to try to figure out how to turn that feature on.

So I don't understand... the ov2 file and the bmp is in the maps directory but nothing shows up.. any ideas or help would be appreciated.. I haven't subscribed to this service and Hame a tomtom one 3rd edition if that helps.

Please forgive my stupidity

If I had been paying attention instead of putting it into the folder called "maps" I would have figured out to put it into the folder called "USA_Canada" ... Dumb dumb dumb..

Now I just have to figure out why the icon shows up as a red square and not at the picture.

That's what I meant by the SPECIFIC map folder....

anyway, the red box is the default symbol when there is no matching .bmp file OR, as I suspect in your case, the .bmp is not named EXACTLY the same as the ov2 file.

For example, red_Lights.ov2 MUST be matched with red_Lights.bmp, not Red_Lights.bmp or red_lights.bmp or RED_LIGHTS.bmp, etc........well, you get the idea.
