Recording Own Voice

Hi, I have recorded the 59 voices and extracted the vif tool to the same folder, I type the vfitool join comand and get message gathering sound files... entry #2 "80.ogg" <80> is missing and no .vif or .chk files are created, any ideas

If not, check back since one of our mods (Andy_P) is a sound guru and I'm sure he provide some thoughts.

But, since it's after midnight in the UK (where he's based), he may have called it a night.

Well, it obviously seems to be complaining about one particular ogg file.

Sorry if this is blindingly obvious stuff, but have you checked the "80.ogg" file is:

1. present in the list of files, and that it is:
2. the right format,
3. not corrupted,
4. has the SAME attributes as all the other files (audio sample frequency, bit depth etc.)

Thanks Andy, it is usually the Blindingly obvious that is the problem, the 80.0gg file was missing, the vif tool checks that the whole 59 files are there
