Random letter cover final digit and edge of route shield

If I am traveling down a street that also has a route number, I will often times have a random letter overlaying the final digit and the right side of the route shield oval (for state routes).

For example
W Center St (106) will look like W Center St (10E - part of the six is visible, not enough to make out what is it, and the oval goes around about 60% of the way before getting cut off.

Any idea how to resolve the problem? Far more of an annoyance than anything else, but still, no reason for it.

I have a TT XL350tm

That's a known bug in the software for the 350 and 550 models. There doesn't seem to be a workaround.

As with all bugs, you can alert Tomtom support. The more people who contact them, the more likely they might issue a fix.
