"QuickGPSfix data has limited validity. So to keep on getting a faster position-fix, re-connect your device at least once a week"

I'm wondering if QuickGPSfix data has limited validity, is it better to have it turned off, if you can't update on a regular schedule (each week)?

    thanks, j

It should make no difference. After 7 days (from download) the navigation software will just ignore the quickfix file.
