question about map corrections

I was just wondering if theres a way to do a map correction from the route review? Im wondering because right now theres a huge rockslide between exit 20 in NC and exit 451 in TN on Interstate 40. I go that way a couple of times a month. I was planning a trip through that area and my TT keeps wanting me to go I40 which is impossible. I used the avoid part of route option last time but would love to have it just go the alternate route. Is this a possiblity ?

Hi. you can use the block road aspect of mapshare and it should stop your being routed that way.

As an aside, I think that blockage has already been reported directly to TomTom but do so anyway.

Thanks got it now. I know its been a mess around here since the road closure. Its supposed to be cleaned up by March of course Im not holding my breath.

I reported it through mapshare because I was driving by and saw all the signs on the road.
Please report it since more mapshare they got, better chance they will correct it

I reported it from both directions the NC side and the TN side. I just hope they get it done by march. With all this frigid weather weve been having they have halted work on it .
