Purchasing New Maps

I am new to all this and have a few questions about new maps.

1. I have a TomTom 920 with maps of EUR and USA which fills most of the 4gb available. I know I can buy maps for AUS and NZ on an SD card, but can I download the maps to my PC and put them on one of my own 4gb SD cards which I already have.

2. Are these maps restricted to one TomTom device.

Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to TTF!

Yes, you can insert a 4 gig sdhc card into the 930 and when you connect to Home, it'll ask whether you want to use external (card) or internal. Select external and purchase the Oz and Kiwi maps and install on the 4 gig sdhc card.

When you want to use a different map, just use the Switch maps icon as you do now to switch between NA and Europe. Except, with the card installed in your unit, you'll see a choice of all the maps to select from, those on internal and on the sdhc card.
