I just ordered the GO 720 last night and have been on this forum quite a bit learning about the various options and features.
I just purchased a mount solution from ebay that nobody seems to mention on here, so I thought I'd share the find (haven't received it yet)... Here is a link:

It is a car vent mount that is specifically made for the TomTom 520/720/920 models, meaning that you don't have to stick anything on the back of your device since it fits perfectly on the back. They have other options at this ebay store as well (http://stores.ebay.com/MF-X2 ) - just type in your model and in the search.
I will post some pics when I get it setup. I bought 2 of these vent mounts - one for my 2000 Nissan Altima and one for my 2003 Mazda Protege5.
I have a question regarding wiring: I noticed that some people are able to mount it so that the wire isn't hanging down to the car lighter. Can someone educate me on some possibilities for doing this - assuming that my tomtom will be attached to my car vent (probably the center vents).
