I just buy a XLS and got a promotion code, I entered it into HOME. It dose not work. Called Support. They say it is invalid cause on Home you select get latest map garanty and it will be downloaded automaticly.

That's how it worked for me. The Promotion Code did nothing. The latest map was automatically loaded into my TT without using the Promotion code.

Prior to TomTom HOME V2 (i.e HOME V1) you needed to use this promotion code for the latest map guarantee.

This is no longer needed.
