Problems adding new maps to Go Classic 2nd Generation

I have recently purchased a Go Classic and trying to add maps for Cyprus. I have tried both options ...WIFI connected and through Mydrive connect, but cant find anywhere to add new maps...only update. I was very surprised to see that Cyprus was not included
Any tips on what i may be doing wrong would be appreciated...I am very new to TomTom
 
Go Classic only has a Europe map installed.
If you want Cyprus, you must purchase the World map.

Tom Tom dont make things too simple do they. I have purchased the world maps, waited almost 24hrs after payment until the order completed. It is now completed but How do i get it to show on the device as an update. I have connected to WiFi and logged into my account on the device, but NO updates are available. Help Please
 
Did you select the device serial number on the checkout page before placing the order?
 
I am sorry buy TOMTOM are not at all user friendly, I have just started to purchase the world maps again and there is NOWHERE on the process to enter my device serial number, screenshot of my checkout page and no indication of how to link to my device....am I missing something???

Normally, if you're logged in with your account credentials, you should be able to select your GPS.
If you still don't see a map, contact TomTom support.

Sorry but TomTom support is a JOKE, its impossible to make contact with a human and everything is hidden behind AI. I really now regret buying this TOMTOM device and having looked at their facebook page....I am not alone. I have raised a support ticket but dont hold out much hope of any contact with them

If chat is available, i.e., during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, you should have the option to tap Live Chat.
If it's an after-hours chat, you should be offered a messaging option.

this is it. omg your my god, god bless you...how to do that? if you will told that i need to connect to mydrive connect so its not true-you cant select anything else, only what you have and only in your unit. in other case you need new unit...not tomtom classic, because of limitations, but tomtom go or go premium. classic is budget friendly but not friendly by adding maps-dummy unit. in short tomtom fail unit of the year is-tomtom go classic. you can go to Finland, but Lithuania,Latvia and Estonia is not included. so another device you can purchase from tomtom with these maps :) maybe tomtom walk classic Baltic states edition :DDDD

Which GO Classic do you currently have?

GO Classic, you have purchased for 27 countries in Europe

If you want to buy a map for countries you don't have, you need to go to the TomTom store and buy the world map.

If it's an older GO Classic, you need to log in to MyDrive Connect to update it.
For a newer GO Classic, you perform updates via Wi-Fi.
