problem with downloading new map

hi I bought a new map and I wanted to download it but I've got not enough space on my tomtom.I did try to use micro sd but tomtom is not accepting it .has anyone got some idea?

Similar issue

I've got a similar question. I'm heading to Europe for a couple weeks. I've purchased the applicable map for my One XL and it obviously doesn't have enough memory for both US and Europe maps (and no card). How do I make sure that I am able to use both maps whenever I need them - I've got a few trips to Europe over the next year, but would like to use my US map in between.

I know I need to backup the maps, but if I reinstall my US map, will I lose the Europe map?

When you need to load the European maps, use Explorer to copy the specific US map folder to your computer. Ensure hidden folders/files are showing. Now, copy the European map to the card.

When back in the States, reverse the process.

Test the pocess out before you go, of course.
