problem playing mp3's

Not exactly what the error is but something to the affect "
problem has occured during media playback."
mp3s will play for a couple days no problem.
BUT after that randomly some will stop 5 or so seconds into the song and go quiet.
any ideas?
I thought it might be my sd card but I have tried 2.
Think my next step is to try and load the mps direct to the tomtom.

Are you running them randomly, or ???

The TomTom mp3 player has been known to barf pretty hard on malformed mp3 files. I wonder if it just eventually hits one? I know some users have had to pull their files off the card and slowly add them back until the culprit was found.

good point.as soooo many have virus's attached.and other crap.
man thats gonna take forever.
and i cant add the mp3s to the tomtom..theres no room

They don't like mp3 tracks sampled at 320KBP/s what sample rate are the tracks ripped at that cause the player to falter? - Mike
