Is there a way to add custom POI Icons to the built in POI Categories. I just got a Go 720, and noticed under the Map folder ie. North_America_2GB there is a folder called "Brand" This contains POI Icons for the built in POIs. Is there a way to list all of the categories and add new POI Icons.
For Example 7315_20.bmp found in the brand folder is the McDonalds Logo. What if I want to add more logos for some of the categories that don't have logos.
the North_America_GB seems to only have 94 Built in icons. Will mapshare - also share these brand icons?
I also keep hearing there is better POI in the older verision of the maps, does it support the "Brand" as well? Would it be possible to take the POI file from the larger North_America map and replace the North_america_2GB file? More POI is nice, but i would rather have more up to date.
