POI phone numbers for North America???

Have connected Samsung SCH-u740 to the TT720 and hands-free works fine even with Verizon! HOWEVER, if I try dialing a POI's phone number, Verizon kicks it out because the number is preceeded with the "011" country code!
I downloaded a new map recently and don't know if that's the reason. Anyone else tried dialing POI phone numbers via TT720?

Hmmm, I haven't noticed this but will check later tonight and get back to you. I believe (based solely on memory) I remember seeing the area code then the number, but not that country code. But I'll check.

Thanks! I noticed that the POI's number is displayed as +1-aaa-xxx-xxxx. When I dial it, the phone displays 011-aaa-xxx-xxxx.

Hadn't tried it before the map update (and of course didn't do a backup before loading the new map!!!

Don't know if you're interested in the voice input, but it works great adding the file to AVR. There's a thread on the main 720 page.....

It does display as 1-XXX-XXX-XXXX with NO country code. I didn't try to actually dial it, as I haven't set up on phone on this device yet.
