POI IN GERMAN

Hi All, i have a rider 550 that is showing POI in the appearance setting in GERMAN although the language is set to English . Tried reboot etc and nothing its still the same. I have reported it to tomtom support but still waiting for them to get back to me 6 weeks down the line ,they are less than useless .I appreciate any suggestions . Thanks Sean

In my opinion, if the POIs have a German name, it seems logical that they are written with a German name on the map.

Hi thanks for reply. I will try to clarify.
The POI in German
see photo ,the POI i want to list on map as I travel as an icons .Like café, restaurants ,hotels etc .

If these are personal points of interest, it's not possible to add personal icons.
You can only identify them with specific TomTom icons.

I believe he's talking about the included POI list that comes as part of the map data.
I suspect that rather than showing the category as "Hospital", his POI list from TomTom says "Krankenhaus"

Hi , I spent 3 months for TomTom to get back to me and in the end they said that’s how it’s designed and can’t do anything . So apparently you choose your language and the POI stays in German that’s exceptional design ! ! . 3 months of wasting my time I will never have anything from TomTom again.
