POI Custom Icons

Does anyone know the best format for making custom icons? Bit-mapped (.bmp) icons are fine when they're small, but in the larger display on the TomTom they are quite distorted. The built-in icons don't do this, so what would be the best format etc. for this?

I beleive the biggest resolution for an icon is 24x24. Anything bigger than that, you'll just see a red dot instead of an icon.

Thanks Pedro. Actually, I am able to make them here too. But it seems that bitmap is the only format used... or are you using a different format with success, such as .gif, .tiff, .jpg for example?

It's BMP.
I have more success if the size is less than 1500 bytes.
