POI capture software

I was doing a search and found some POI capture software. Is this only for the speed cameras over in the UK? Or can this be used to mark something you want to come back to later?

It's mainly used for speed cameras.
If you want to save your current position as a favorite that you would like to come back later, just click on main menu page 2 of 3 and select browse map. Press the compass icon on the top left corner to locate your current position then select the cursor button between the find and done. Finally, select 'add as a favorite'.

That'll work I guess. As long as i have my wife in the car to type out the favorite.

Tripmaster is excellent for recording POI's. Just by pressing one button it records the exact position with a predefined text (f.ex. Photobox)
