I used poi-along-route feature to get a nearby restaurant.
How do you cancel the poi-navigation without canceling the main
route navigation
Thanks

Poi Along rte

Hi , in answer to your question go to page 1 of 3 tap change preferences,
you are now on 1 of 7 tap enable/disable POI's, you will find all poi's with a box in front of each Poi just tap poi check mark means enable unchecked box is disabled.

Thanks....but
does not answer my question which is:

Say I am in middle of navigation ie following TomTom
directions. BUt I want to stop at some POI along-route.
So TT now starts directing me to this poi.
If I change my mind, how do I get back to original
directions and cancel directions to this poi.

No he means something else. He wants to cancel part of his itinerary route.
He originally plan to go from Point A to Point B, but he wants to go to a POI between that route. He then changes his mind and wants to cancel that route without originally cancelling the main destination.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

That correct!
Sorry I didn't get to post the answer aftewards. I was leaving from work when I posted my reply and didn't have a change to answer.

Yes, it might. I will try that.
One possible problem might be.
If the main route itself was calculated as "find-alternative-route"
then using "re-calculate original route" might take me back
to the wrong route (the original). But I will try it and see.
I think there has to be another answer. I will send question to TT
site and report back here with any answer.
Thanks

Would "Recalculate Original Route" work?

If I'm driving along and I have POI enabled. Can I click on a POI that comes up and navigate to it? Or is there a sequence of clciking I need to do. I haven't been able to figure this one out yet. Driving back from Ontario we were looking for a place to eat and when we clicked on the icon as it showed up on the screen it just brought us to the main menu.

I'd like to either be able to click on an icon and get info about it then click it again to navigate there or simply auto navigate to it with a click. Does the TTOne offer that or is that something the higher models offer?

Thanks in advance!!
