Playing phone calls on external speakers on Go 720

I'm using the line-out connection between my Go 720 and car stereo - all music stored on my 720 comes out of my car speakers, as well as routing instructions - the only thing that still comes out of it's internal speaker are phone calls. I have firmware 8.010.
I have read some threads about adding a file in the root directory, but that hasn't done it.
Does anyone know if it will be released soon on a new firmware version?

I'm also in the same boat, plus I find the volume of the internal speakers are not loud enough for me when driving with the windows down. Looking forward to updates on this issue.
