Plan own routes

I have a Go Classic Lite and want to plan routes and record them. In the past I’ve been able to press record and then save the route. I don’t want to go A to B but drive around a town then get my son to follow it. Like he would do in a driving test. Does anyone know if any TomTom has this function still. Thanks

The Go Classic does not have this feature; look for older models such as the Go Premium, Go 6200, or Go 5200.

Go 520/620/5200/6200, Essential, Supreme, 620, 620 Professional, Premium ... all a decent platform, and all will record routes.

However, you can also plan a route using TomTom's planner tool online ( https://plan.tomtom.com ), and sync your created route to your Go Classic Lite by logging into the TomTom site using the same username and password.
