Picture Viewer restarts TT720

When I try to open the picture viewer on my TT720, and as it tries to load the pictures, the device restarts. The viewer was working prior to putting about 10 pictures (all jpegs) on the 2Gb SD card where the photos are stored. Do I need to delete the photos folder on the internal memory and just use the photos folder on the SD card? Does having both folders create an issue? Also, is there a size limitation on the number of photos the viewer can handle? Does it matter if the jpegs have a - or_ in the file name?
I'm just trying to figure out why sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It almost seems like it's trying to load all the pictures in memory but times out and restarts - just a thought. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks.
