Phonebook GO LIVE 1000

Paired my GO LIVE 1000 with my LG KU990i phone and calls are great. However "Phonebook" icon is greyed out, I cannot find instruction how to transfer/copy my contacts from phone to my TomTom device. There was a thread that talked about GO 730 units but does not appear to be applicable to my device, any help please.

Amazingly the KU990 *is* on TomTom's compatability list for use with their devices (see here), but I'm afraid ONLY for hands-free calling with the Go1000. No ticks in any of the other columns.

Annoyingly, the contacts list in the TomTom is just a simple text file, but on the new models, there's no way to get at it.

Many thanks Andy. In general the device works well on the road, however from my limited experience the newer the model the less and less facilities are available.
