phone audio out problem

I have read forums on how to use the audio out on phone calls.
Using the .txt file method in the root directory. I did edit it to remove the .txt extension as well. I have seen some ppl have gotten it to work, but I have had no luck so far. I need to find out if it is only possible in earlier firmware versions or there is another workaround. I have the tomtom 910 and firmware vers: 6.110

Are you sure you have removed the *.txt extension? I believe that trick should work but will have to wait for Pedro2NR to chime in.
