Personal Map Changes

First the technicals. I have a 130s, app v8.083, map v850.2824. All-in-all, a very nice unit. I'm hoping someone can answer a question about personal map updates, meaning, I've made a few changes to the map; streets being blocked, a new bridge, etc.. The issue is that these changes aren't being reflected on the map. Shouldn't these changes be showing up or do I need some sort of "TomTom" approval for the changes?

Changes you make through mapshare should show on your map though any changes you need to report won't get reflected on any map.

But certainly, if you block a road on your map, the routing algorithm should not try to take you on that road.
