I finally got my Sprint Treo 700p and the Bluetooth phone function to work on myTT 510, still working on the data part; I will update you I get that.
Here is how I got it all to work:
BT Settings on the Treo 700
BT on
Device Name: Treo (this is just my phone name so see if your own [different] name works.)
Discoverable: Yes
DUN: Off
Procedure
1. On TT510: Mobile phone
2. On TT510: Establish connection to phone: Press Yes
3. On TT510: Make sure BT enabled: Press Yes. (Wait until TT510 shows: Select a phone: Treo)
4. On T700: Setup Devices | Hands-free Setup | Next | Show: All known devices.
5. On T700: Select TomTom GO 510 then press OK. Wait for passkey. Enter passkey: 0000. Do not press OK yet.
6. On TT510: Press Treo (shows message Connecting to phone and you must enter 0000)
7. On TT510: Press Continue then quickly, on T700: Press OK
8. On TT510 shows message: Treo. Unable to use this phone. Your phone did not report any BT features or may just keep looking for the phone.
9. On T700: Select device: Carkit. Press Next. Should say Done and then show TT510 in Trusted devices on T700.
10. On the TT510 it shows: Treo. This phone does not report wireless data connection (DUN) capabilities. TomTom PLUS services cannot be used with this phone. Continue.
The verbage may be different but the timing is what is vital. Good luck.
