One XL Cancelling Route and BlueTooth Connection

I just purchased a ONE XL earlier this week. Is there a quick way (or any way) to cancel a route once the unit is already processing the info? Isn't it also supposed to stop once you get to the destination? I'm also have difficulty in getting it to sync with my Motorola Pearl Blackberry. Neither the phone or the unit recognize each other. HELP!
