One LE (purpose for Position of last stop?)

I'd like to know if you guys know what's the main purpose for the feature found in Navigate to.. called: "Position of last stop".

You see, every time I press on that it shows me my first location I used to navigate to when using this GPS the first time. But It has not changed, I have probably made a lot of stops, but I am not clear on what the purpose for this feature is. Thanks in advance for some knowledge at this feature.

I have a tomtom LE, I use the "Position of Last Stop" to navagate to where I last stopped when using my GPS in the non- navagate way. Its hard to put in words but if you just turn on your GPS and go, no route entered, if you then stop somewhere, then set a route and want to go back to the place you stopped you can navagate back there. does this make sense??? LOL
