TomTom is a joke. I used Garmin for 10+ years for rallies all over the US. The TomTom maps via desktop are now down for 2+ days !!!!!
When working its fine. But it's impossible to move waypoint in bulk from Garmin to TomTom. GPS Bable good luck with that...
Wish I knew this before buying one.
Big disappointment. I am leaving on a cross country trip Monday and the Maps are down for Desktop access... Simply a joke. How do I get a human at TOmTOm to look into this ? Help Help Help. This tech service reminds me of the 1990's. Many cloud based app never have this problem these days.

Yes, still waiting for them to sort this out. Have never seen this before in the years that MyDrive has existed.

As for moving waypoints in bulk from Garmin to TomTom ... different brands, different formats, but definitely not as hard to do as you make it out. Rider owners move *.gpx files to Rider units all the time. If you can tell us what you're needing to accomplish, let us know in specific terms. GPSBabel is a great tool, but there are others that are a bit simpler.

I prefer to use *.ov2 files rather than *.gpx for Rider purposes (tracks are a pain). POIEdit (still available here >> http://poiedit.com/downloads.htm ) is a simple 'open *.gpx save as *.ov2' option... assuming that's what you are trying to accomplish.

I tried many conversions but the OV2 file was always empty. This is the waypoint file. I am trying to convert into OV2 with labels. For now Input lat and lon manually.

Let's start from the beginning. Have you exported this personal Google map as a KML or gpx files file yet?
If you have the *.gpx files, then the tool I described above works dandy for quick conversions.
If you have the *.KML, let me know. I can convert it in about 2 minutes to a *.gpx, or to an *.ov2.

Actually - never mind. This should only take a second if I've understood what you want.

Well - I can see part of your problem.
Some of your *.gpx files are waypoints (the individual locations). Some of your *.gpx files are tracks (the "Directions" files).
I have put together an *.ov2 of your waypoints. Would you want the directions left in *.gpx? I'll leave those as well.

Tracks or routes show as" Imported". Not routable or any waypoints or POI's not really useful for routing.

Thanks for the effort. I am at the same place I arrived at. Lots of chatter about the ease or moving waypoints into POI's but it's not working.

Here is an Excel file (cvs) with Lat Lon waypoint data. Been manually importing this for each location to build POIs for the rally via Lat Lon. Painful.

It would be great if this could be uploaded in bulk.

? I've opened up the *.ov2 file with two different tools. All is there, intact. Actually, there's a little more than you even bargained for -- I forgot to delete some extraneous stuff.
I'll have a look at whatever that is out on Google Drive late tomorrow.

If you import the POI file OV2 into My Drive . Then check the your POI's nothing there ..

To the contrary ... I uploaded the file called Waypoints.ov2 to MyDrive, found the category 'Waypoints' had appeared as expected in MyPlaces on my GO 620, and was able to see all of the waypoints that are in that file. Again, apologies for adding some stuff to the descriptor that you wouldn't have needed/wanted. It's a format I use for something else.

Tried to do that but will have to wait until MyDrive is working again.

Switched a few times and was able to log in.

Imported the file into MyDrive but noting shows up as POI location .. Seems the file is empty ? Or do I need to connect my physical GPS unit to the desktop.
