Decided to add some of the POI's to my tomtom 910. Put the unit into the usb cradle but the computer does not see it. Suggestions? Tried unplugging and plugging it back into the usb a different usb etc.

Do you see the green light on the unit? if so, does the screen say do not disconnect or remove?

the green light is on but the screen does not show the question about the computer

got it. had to do a reset.

Like most computers, for some strange reason, require rebooting.
A simple reset, or a hard reset, ie.10 seconds reset usuall does the trick.

How do you do a reset on TT910? Hold the power button? Or is there a reset button in the back?

I think you will find a small reset button on the back. Takes a paper clip to push it. Be careful about the connectors for the dock.
