Not loading by carkit

I have a GO Discover 7". Works fine, but I have problems with loading via de carkit. I think the connection between de diviseholder and the cable is the problem. Sometimes by pressing de cable again into the holder it works for a while.
Is this problem known, what is the solution for this?

If you have a connection problem between the cable plug and the GPS mount, the only solution if your GPS is still under warranty is to contact Tomtom support so they can exchange the GPS for a new one.

Thx, but the GPS is already more than 2 years. I hoped somebody had the same problem and solved it on one or the other way.

by loading I meant current charging (sorry)
