No Touch Screen Response

Hi - New to the forum and I'm having a problem with my Go 720. I get no response when I touch the screen. Are there any existing threads that deal with this issue or can someone offer things to try?

Thanks for the response - That changed my symptoms but it still not right. After loading the tool when I touch the screen it just goes white and only a pin reset brings it back

another thing you can do

IF YOU Have Made A complete BackUP Using windows Explorer
please go to Tools/ Folder Options, select the "View" tab and make sure:
Show hidden files and folders IS Selected
Hide extensions for known file types IS NOT Selected

Here is how if not sure:

You could then format your unit with windows fat 32 then reinstall your backup with explorer.

Nice link, but when the touch screen doesn't work, I cannot make my GPS connect to the computer.

Cleaned under plastic!

Thanks for the response! I had already done the pin reset several times to no avail.

I cleaned under and around the plastic edging, with a paper/ plastic, and whatever invisible dirt that was lurking was dislodged.

Simple, simple solution gives me great relief.

This solution should be in a sticky somewhere on this site, as it should be the first step to solving the problem.
