TomTom Model(s)

first time on the site so i am a little new and inexperienced.
I have 2 Tomtom one (yes I know very old) I use them to alert me to speed cameras. I am a member of a site that produces updated camera information regularly.
Over the past couple of months it seems I am unable to connect to GPS. Tried connecting to Tomtom home and updating any GPS software.
Is my TT one too old? and if so what model is it best to buy to install my speed camera data.
I have a custom Navcore installed that allows the unit to come on remotely when the power is connected and it also turns off when the power is removed.

Hope

All new TomTom GPS devices no longer have the option to add custom POIs.
However, newer GPS devices do have lifetime updates for speed camera and traffic maps.

Thanks Willy.
What is the best option for a new TT that enables POI's and connects to GPS seamlessly.
