My name is Joe and I live in Tampa Bay, Florida. I just purchased a Tom Tom 340 XL TM Live today. I had a Nextar that froze up on me and became inoperable. It was like new and only used it 5 times. I decided to purchase a good quality GPS that hopefully I can have many years of trouble free use. My in-laws are visiting and had their Garmin stolen out of the center console of their Suv. Wolfpack of thugs broke out their window in broad daylight in a busy strip mall. Anyway, they replaced it with a Garmin 1300 TLM. I looked really hard at the Garmins, but after some research, I decided to go with the Tom Tom. I really like this unit and hope I can learn about myTom Tom GPS. Does anyone have any positive or negative input about this unit?
