Newbie in a pinch!

Hello, I was in a real pinch, landed in Dublin planning a drive around the country, however my iPhone wasn't behaving proper on the cell networks.

I bought a Tom Tom start 1ex00 and I love the device saved my rear getting around in Ireland. However, I'm wondering is this unit any good to me back home in north America?

Can I download and install the north American map?

The equivalent model to the Start in the States in the EASE. You probably can purchase a North_American map when you get home but chances are you'll need to move your current map to the computer to make room for the new map.
