New TomTom 920T Owner

Hi,

I just bought the TomTom 920T. I've never had a TomTom or navi for that matter and I'm trying to muddle my way through this.

What doesn't help is the official TomTom Home Website doesn't have any support / device selection for the 920T yet so my "promotional code" doesn't work. Am I missing something here?

Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome Underla and congrats on the Purchase.

Have you tried installing TomTom HOME version 2?
The HOME software has a option to enter the promotion code.
Try and see if it works for you.

I too just bought the 920T. New to GPS as well. I emailed tech support for the link for the included 1 year maps cert. and have yet to receive an answer.

Mine came with map version 710.1576

Hi Madden (or a MOD) - you might want to blank out your device ID on the picture. I read that one of the MOD's did this before to protect someone from hi-jacking your ability to activate or something.
