Release date: 27/01/26
Software version: 25.202.0010
GO Expert Plus, GO Superior, GO Exclusive, GO Navigator (7”), GO Camper Max (2nd generation), GO Professional, GO Advanced, GO Classic, GO Classic Lite

  • We improved the general performance and stability.

This software update does not resolve the problem that was introduced by the previous update (25.201.0009).
The problem:
Since software update 25.201.0009, TomTom displays distance to the first next junction on a motorway as opposed to the junction you need to leave the motorway. This is very annoying, because you have to anticipate on the junction you need to leave the motorway, anticipation to go straight on is unnecessary. TomTom never had this erroneous behaviour.

Do you notice it on every junction/exit?
I haven't noticed this behaviour on regular exits. It correctly shows the distance to the exit I need to get off.
I will test some more in the coming weeks to see if I can replicate the same.
Do you have a picture of what exactly it is?

Yes every junction on all motorways. If two exits are close to each other, and you need to leave the motorway on the second exit of the two, only 200 - 400 meter before the exit TomTom tells you to exit.
I today updated the map of the Netherlands, tomorrow I will see if that changes the behaviour. Do you have an updated version of the map?

The maps were updated last week or the week before if I recall correctly. I have updated them.
On Friday I drove on the A18 from the A12 towards Doetinchem. I had to exit at exit 4 and it showed that before exit 3 even was close.

I will do some more testing but I don't use it every day because the TomTom is only used in our private car and not in my company car.

With the updated maps the same problem... On A6, A27, A12 today. Everywhere the same problem.

So you don't see what is in my screenshot above where it only shows the exit I have to get off? Can you give an exact example of a route?

On my navigation system it is with every route. Try from Haarlem to Almere. And from Almere to Gouda.

Ik tried a couple of simulations and I can't see anything weird or strange which resembles what you seem to experience.
Did you already do a factory reset to see if that changes anything?
I'm interested to see a screenshot/photo of what you experience.

We all have this bug, it’s very annoying and we hope it will be fixed in the next updates.

It's impossible to drive; you constantly have to check if there's an exit. This happens in every country! When will they fix this?
