TomTom Model(s)
XXL Classic
Hi all,

I own a TomTom 6" XXL Classic which is years old now and I'm looking to replace this.

As part of the Black Friday deals I'm thinking of buying a Go 6" Superior Bundle...BUT I can't see how/if this can be fitted to a windscreen.

I own a classic car and go to France in it so a sat nav is essential for me. But my car has with quite a raked windscreen, the dash is Leather and their isnt a lot of room for a sat nav but my 6" XXL Classic fits in a gap just fine with a windscreen fitting. It looks like the Go 6" is stuck to the dash with dashboard mount discs. I dont want to stick anything to an old leather dash and there just isnt the room to do this anyway.

Can anyone provide me what the options are for fitting a GO 6" as I dont want to buy one only to find out that I cant fix it in the space I have,
Cheers, Barry,

Hi

On the GO superior, there is a ball joint at the rear of the support, so the support can be oriented either to fix it on the dashboard or on the windshield.

Thank you Willy...but it looks like with this particular TomTom deal the sat nav only comes with dashboard mount discs which are no good to me so would this mean that I have to buy an extra support that fits into the ball joint on that back?
If so then the Black Friday deal isnt so good if there are extra costs being incurred just so I can fit it in my car.

In addition to the 2 dashboard discs and the charger, you should have this active USB-C support for models 6 in the box.

Thank you Willy, I'll order the new one then and 'hope' that this attachment comes with it as it'll be ideal, thanks Barry.

This mount is always included in GPS boxes, as it's Black Friday Tomtom is offering the 2 discs and the cigarette lighter charger as an extra.
