New 740TM keeps going to screen saver?

Well the big debut with the spouse didn't go so well today. While following the route It kept losing signals in tunnels. To be expected. But it would not recover fast enough as we exited the tunnels and we missed turns.

Out of the tunnels once I got a new route going it kept dropping into some kind of a screen saver. Little icons.. Got a nice tour of Beacon Hill though

Then the spouse started second guessing the GPS! It did finally get us to the hotel.

connect your Tomtom to your computer and delete the "scripts" folder. The screen saver is a store demo, and deleting that folder removes the demo files.

Thanks for the help. I left computer at home. Too bad the iPad won't run Tomtom Home.

Tomtom "looks" like a regular USB drive. You might be able to connect and delete the files at your hotel's business center, or at a FedexKinkos.
