need now battery for 910 Go -- in France!

I have a 910, if it's plugged into car or docking station at home green light goes on but screen black. I assume battery is dead. It wasn't turning off in recent weaks, just draining, so that must have killed it.

I went to buy a battery here in Paris but the guy said he could sell me one, but can't install it.

How do i get one installed and am i throwing good money after bad? do you think the on-off switch is fatally flawed? It's two years old, no warranty.

You could do it yourself but to be honest replacing a battery in the 910 is far from easy, the battery was the very first component fitted in to the middle of the aluminium chassis and everything was added around it - its not an easy job at all so I can understand why the chap is reluctant to change it for you - Mike
