Need new system for XXL

We had a severe wild electric stroke that caused the system for America to be 'wipped out'.
What do I do to get the current unit for my XXL?
I tried installing another XXL's unit, and it won't take over.

PS: I've never done this, so please advise everything I need to do.
Am 75 years, and recently had body stroke.

If you mean the software for the device, connect to Home and see what updates are offered. If the device has been wiped clean somehow, you won't be able to use a map from another device. Do you have a backup on your computer? In Home, manage my device (2nd page) what does it show for items on the device? How about items on computer?
