GO Supreme 6"
Recently when starting My tomtom GO Supreme 6" after not using it for a few days it seems to need to "warm up" for 15-30 minutes or more. It just keeps turning itself off and back on. Eventually it will work but I seem to need to drive with it on for miles before it starts to work. Anyone have a solution? Thanks

Makes me wonder about the status of your battery. Sounds like it is becoming depleted between trips.

When you shut off the car, are you removing the device from the dock? Regardless, are you getting the countdown clock indicating that the device is going to sleep mode, and does that appear to complete properly? Tell us just a bit more about what you do when your journey is complete.

Yes I remove it. Or if I leave it there, the power shuts off with the ignition. Yes I get the countdown and it completes.
It's not the shutdown but rather the startup.
If I don't use it for a few days, it will start to turn on, but when I try to input a destination from "Drive To Address or Point of Interest" it stops and restarts. Over and over! Sometimes I can get 2 or 3 steps into the process and it stops and restarts. The same thing if I'm using Recent Destinations or My Places.
Most times after 15 min or so and several miles I can pull over and it works fine. If I use it daily it seems to be okay also.

What I'd like you to do is to wait the few days with the device unpowered and attempt to start the device without having it in the dock in the vehicle. We need to establish the condition of the battery. My guess is that it may not start at all, much less go into a start/reboot cycle.

Further steps would be to give it a very brief charge, enough to get it started, and then have a look a both the battery indicator that you're accustomed to seeing on the menu page and also the voltage noted on the diagnostic page, which you may never have seen before.

It seems VERY early for a Supreme 6" to have a failing battery, but that surely does sound like what you've got.
