Just bought a Navigator 6” 2nd edition for a long Euro tour, and as on many many occasions before using other TT units, have created all my daily routes in ‘MyRouteApp’, and imported them into TT Planner, (or My Drive), and synced to the Navigator unit.
All works fine in my old 7” unit, but with the new 2nd gen unit, none of the routes work properly. At the beginning of a new route all seems fine, and instructions are given at way points or junctions, but after a few minutes, every time there is a navigation instruction the unit goes to a black screen, and is about á minute before the route is displayed again. It makes it totally useless for navigation one this trip, and am having to use my phone and the TT Go App, where the same routes work fine.
I have read about others having issues with this 2nd Gen unit, but can’t return it to TT ‘till I get back to the U.K. in five weeks.
Any ideas? I have done a total reset three times, logged in and out of my account many times, but all to no avail, grrrrrrrr
