  • Your device now reads aloud Traffic messages about upcoming traffic events on your route.
  • Your Traffic and Speed Camera subscriptions are now shown on the About screen.
  • We’ve made improvements to the next instruction panel at the top of the guidance view.

  • Other bug fixes and improvements have been made.

  • We’ve made improvements to the Night brightness level. You can now set a lower brightness level.
  • You can now reply to a missed call with an SMS.
  • You can now change the volume for phone calls.
  • You can now call back from an SMS.
  • Time stamps are now added to missed calls and incoming messages.
  • Security improvements have been made.
  • We’ve made improvements to the next instruction panel at the top of the guidance view.
  • Other bug fixes and improvements have been made.
 
Also, for me, a side effect of updating the firmware is that the available free space of the device goes from 7MB to 0B, and "finally" allowing me to move my map to the sd card.

I hope I am not "spamming" this forum too much :)
I always wants to keep my devices up to date, so I check for update frequency, which also means sometimes I run into bugs in the firmware, so I want others to be aware of it.
As for my previous statement, if you have a factory GO 600, with North America Map, and no SD card, you might run into out of space issue, so you might want to hold off the update until you got one (or you can remove some voice I believe since I see it on the screen that was shown when the device is full)
 
Indeed. Always nice to see what production device users are getting from TomTom in the way of new firmware updates and the notes that go along with them.
