MyDrive replaced by Plan?!

TomTom Model(s)
GO 300, Start 60,
Having spent several hours reading TomTom GO manuals referring to My Drive and watching Tom Tom YouTube videos relating to My Drive, am I right in thinking that My Drive has now been superceded by TomTom Plan? Can anyone please tell me if there are there any guidance notes for Plan anywhere?

I have been able to successfully display My Places on the Plan web map and import POI files into My Items but don't seem to be able to display the location of the included POIS or my imported POIS on the Plan map. Am I being stupid or missing something?

I see that Plan settings also provide the facility for entering vehicle dimensions and maximum speed and specifying whether the vehicle is a car, motorcycle, caravan, camper etc.. Does a route planned accordingly and exported to my GO6200 reflect these considerations, despite the GO6200 not having the facility to specify these parameters within itself?

Thanks.

That's right, Mydrive has been replaced by Plan-Tomtom.

Car and motorbike settings are not affected by the vehicle dimensions and maximum speed settings.

If you have a caravan, you have the option to plan a route with the vehicle dimensions settings.

You must save the route to keep the settings.

Thank you again, Willy. Do you know if there is a way to get the POIS to show up on the Plan map?

This tool will display all of your 'favorites', but is completely clueless about custom POI (*.ov2). Wish that weren't the case, but ...

On plan-tomtom, no icon of your personal POIs is visible.
On the other hand, on the map of your GPS, you will have this icon visible.

Thank you, Canderson and Willy for your replies.

I had found the facility to display a selection of my personal POIs on my GPS Map. What really surprises me is that it does not appear that you can display the TomTom POIs (eg Food & Drink, Shopping etc) on Plan, despite the selection boxes. Is this correct or am I missing something?

I am also surprised that Parking, Petrol Stations and EV charging points are the only TomTom POIs that one can easily access on the GO6200. I appreciate that the TomTom POIs do show up if you search for them by name - but you do need to know the name!

On further research, it seems that the GO6200 Professional is a lot better in this regard and can display a variety of user selected TomTom POIs, with their appropriate icons. However, I presume that there is still no way of displaying these POI icons on Plan.

A pity that TomTom don't make things easier!

Yes, the 6200 can display up to five custom POI categories at a time, unlike the newer devices which cannot display any.
No, no way to display these in the planner.
