anyone else having problems with my totom? pc not seeing sat nav thus cannt get updates . restarted pc , re booted sat nav ie tom tom drums switched usb ports .. nothing works.

You are using MyTomTom, not Home 2, correct?

Using the cable that came with the device? Are the ends connecting properly to the unit and usb port on the computer?

thanks for the info, i tried the tomtom on my wifes laptop and it conected ok , so the fault is with my pc. USB ports all work as i have other things conected to them. updated flash but that didnt help .. onwards and upwards

found out what the problem wqs, some how the divice was disabled from my network, windows did an automatic repair, job done
