This might be useful if you are replacing a like-for-like phone:
I had a Samsung S20 with Mydrive app installed so it could communicate with my Rider 550. It worked ok. Unfortunately the phone screen and the rear case broke and it was cheaper to just replace the phone for another S20. Trying to install the Mydrive app via Google Play I got the message that the device is already installed.
I took a while before I realized that Google was only recognizing the phone type and not the serial number. So Go to your google account, "Manage you Google account", then "security", Devices, "Manage all devices", find the old/new device and "Sign out". Once you sign in with you new device you can reinstall. Done!
