My 910 Window Mount Melted, can i use the car charger

Had it on the window and it melted, i live in Chicago, the inside broke and i have not had it a year yet. Can i still use the Car charger with it??? Cant seem to figure it out.
I looked into buying another and all i see is the FM transmitter mount, is that i have to buy again???

I bought the FM mount and did not like it. Try looking on EBay

is that the ONLY way to use it in the car and use the charger at the same time?

Unfortunately the car charger plugs into the mounting base and not directly into the tt. That is the weak link that caused the problem with the power on and off as well as noise when using the ipod cable. Give support a call.....who knows they may be sympathetic and replace it. The did a replacement for me.
