Deleted everything in "Download" folder then,
Firstly, logged-in TTH, connected GPS to computer, MapShare indicated 40 weeks out of date.
Secondly, click on Update my GO, in the bottom, "no new correction" was there. In the list of updates, there was MapShare download with "Tiny" indication and no version info available. Went ahead, downloaded and installed. Still showed 40 weeks out of day with RED dot.
Thirdly, in TTH -> Tools -> Tomtom MapShare ... -> Preference (or something I forgot). Then there were 2 tabs, first tab listed NA (including Canada) for 0.6MB. This is for entire North America, each individual showed "Tiny", checked it; second tab (POI things), none of them checked. Click "Done" or "Continue" or whatever I forgot but not the Cancel button. It downloaded and installed. After that MapShare indicated 5476 corrections in used with GREEN dot.
That all it shows now.
The question is:
+ am I update MapShare the right way?
+ how come from 40 weeks out of date of 5K+ corrections in used only costs 0.6MB??? Is that too little for that much of an 40-week-old update?
+ in the second tab (POI thing), should I check all, check what I want, or leave everything un-check???
Thanks
